Construction Monitoring

Engineering Diagnostics performs construction monitoring on projects we design and for clients who hire us as independent observers. While the contract documents may be complete and thorough, we believe that it is essential to follow through during construction with designer involvement with on-site monitoring to achieve satisfactory performance from the implemented work.

We also serve as the construction contract administrator on behalf of the client and typically perform the following duties:

• Prepare contract documents
• Review submittals
• Convene a pre-construction meeting and regular construction progress meetings
• Review payment applications and provide our recommendations
• Prepare monthly reports that summarize the work
• Address RFI's
• Review and provide recommendations on construction issues or unforeseen conditions
